Dr. Schlesinger is a 1997 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she also completed her Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology in 2003. Her Residency in Internal Medicine was at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and was completed in 2000. After practicing as a member of the medical staff at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Cancer Centers until November 2005, she joined PCI. Dr. Schlesinger has a special interest in coagulation problems and breast cancer and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. She is primarily located in the PCI-Newport News location where she serves Riverside Regional Medical Center, but she also practices in the Gloucester PCI office and serves Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
