St. Louis native Kirsten Thouvenot, DDS dreamt of becoming a dentist from the early age of 10, and is thrilled to be living this dream each day. Dr. Thouvenot attended the University of Missouri – Columbia for her undergraduate degree (MIZ!) and the University of Missouri – Kansas City for dental school (Go Chiefs!). After graduating from dental school, Dr. Thouvenot relocated to Austin to begin her career (and chase the Texas sunshine).
Dr. Thouvenot is dedicated to providing a comfortable, laid-back experience for all of her patients. She believes it is of the utmost importance to explain each procedure to her patients in detail and answer any questions they may have in order to make them feel at ease and informed about their oral health.
When Dr. Thouvenot is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Sawyer, and her friends and family. She has a 4-year-old nephew, Elijah, and a 2-year-old niece, Emersyn, whom she adores. She enjoys yoga, exercise, hiking, and …anything that involves being on the water. She also loves trying all the amazing restaurants Austin has to offer, traveling, and attending concerts. She loves calling Austin home!
Dr. Thouvenot’s favorite things about being a dentist are improving patients’ confidence and connecting with people from all walks of life. Her positive, bubbly personality will instill confidence that her patients’ oral health is in good hands.
