Krystal Irizarry, MD, is a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist who joined AdventHealth Medical Group in Central Florida from Rochester, NY, where she served as an assistant professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Irizarry is a native of upstate New York who graduated from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, then returned to her home state to earn her medical degree at Albany Medical College. She next undertook her pediatric residency training at Duke University, where she was subsequently selected for an elite, pediatric endocrinology fellowship and honored with a Teacher of the Year award. An active researcher whose work has appeared in multiple medical journals, she is committed to helping her young patients by offering the most advanced and effective medical therapies in the field of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
