Dr. Kurt Jensen is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has maintained a private practice in Rockford since 1985. He has advanced training and experience in the field of dental implants, bone and tissue regeneration, bone grafting, esthetic gum surgery and wisdom teeth removal.
Dr. Kurt Jensen was born and raised in Rockford. He attended Guilford High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Augustana College where he graduated magna cum laude in 1978. He graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry with honors in 1982. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He is an active member in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Association, the Winnebago County Dental Society where he has served as president, the International College of Implantologists, and the Rockford Cleft Palate Team.
