Dr. Kyle Pierce Allen, MD

Kyle P. Allen M.D. began his medical career in 2006 when he received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine with Honors. He completed
his post-graduate residency training in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. After developing a strong interest in ear surgery, and demonstrating surgical aptitude to his mentors, he was selected to complete a two year subspecialty fellowship which he completed in otology, neurotology, skull based surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Allen brings new information to the medical community through his leadership and involvement in ongoing research projects. Articles detailing his findings have appeared in such notable publications as Laryngoscope, Otology & Neurotology, Journal of Neurological Surgery, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Archives of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, among others, and he has been invited to present numerous …national presentations regarding his research and the clinical management of different ear diseases. Dr. Allen is a member of several prestigious professional societies including: Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, AAO-HNS Millennium Society, American Neurotology Society, Triological Society. Dr. Allen has a background in public health and a passion for continually evaluating and improving disease management strategies with the goal of improving overall quality of life for
patients. His recognition of the profound effects of hearing and balance on quality of life drove him to pursue a career to better these senses.
