Dr. Lauren Mentasti Consonni, MD

Lauren M. Consonni, DMD, MPH
Dr. Consonni is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and a graduate of the UCONN undergraduate program with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Â During her time as a college and dental student, she was very involved in research in the dental public health arena. Â Particularly focused on access to care, Dr. Consonni published a number of articles and served as editor for a document commissioned by the State Department of Public Health entitled “Oral Health in Connecticut.” Â This work served as the basis for her Masters in Public Health thesis, which she completed during her dental training.
Dr. Consonni was born and raised in Bristol, where she lived with her parents Joseph and Ellen Mentasti and her younger brother Brendon. Â She currently resides in Farmington with her husband, Mike, an Apple employee and a semi-professional magician, balloon artist, and musician with two local bands.
Dr. Consonni is excited to …be practicing general dentistry and serving the Farmington Valley and greater Hartford areas. Â She has a special interest in treating children and enjoys working with families. Â Dr. Consonni is a member of the Hartford Dental Society and the Connecticut State Dental Society. She looks forward to meeting and working with you in the future.
