Dr. Lori Lee Barr, MD

Dr. Barr joined the Children?s Hospital Foundation Board in August 2000 as a physician with the Austin Radiological Association (ARA). Prior to her work with ARA, she was an Associate Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics at the Children?s Hospital Medical Center and at the University of Cincinnati of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Barr received her B.A. from David Lipscomb University and her M.D. from Louisiana State University. After completing a Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Dr. Barr practiced academic pediatric radiology for 11 years. In 2001, she was awarded the degree of Fellow by the American College of Radiology. Dr. Barr is also a fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and is a member of the Texas Medical Association, American Association for Women in Radiology, Society for Pediatric Radiology and the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society.
