Lory Carlisle Avsar, D.M.D.
Dr. Avsar received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1994. She completed a post-graduate residency in General Dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1995. After practicing general dentistry for two years, Dr. Avsar returned to UABSOD and in 2000, received her certificate in the specialty of Periodontics. She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Her clinical skills include extractions, bone grafting, implant placement in addition to periodontal therapy and periodontal surgery.
