Dr. DiCarlo is board certified by both the American Board of Radiology and the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology. After leaving the Cleveland Clinic, he was in practice in Farmington Hills, MI. He joined the Sparrow Regional Cancer Center in April 2001.
He received his medical degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship at Horizon Health System in Detroit, Michigan and his residency in Radiation Oncology at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation/Taussig Cancer Center.
Dr. DiCarlo treats all cancer types with special interest in brachytherapy, genitourinary malignancies, breast cancer, lung cancer and neurological oncology.
His special interests include Ultrasound Guided Iodine – 125 Prostate Seed Implantation, RadioImmunotherapy, 3 – Dimensional Conformal/Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and image guided treatment planning systems. Dr. DiCarlo is accepting new patients …and also participates in Clinical Trials.
