Dr. Fandos joined National Spine & Pain Centers in 2013 when it merged with New York Pain Consultants. Prior to his current position, Dr. Fandos was the Division Chief for Pain Management at the Mater Dei Hospital in Buenos Aries and was an Associate Professor at Foundation Dolor. In 2002, he returned to the United States and co-founded New York Pain Consultants with Dr. Craig Shalmi.Dr. Fandos is a seasoned pain management specialist with over 20 years experience and is an expert in complex pain management conditions. His philosophy for treating patients is focused on staying current with the latest pain management techniques so that he can provide his patients with the best care possible.Additionally, Dr. Fandos teaches pain management to medical residents from Stony Brook University Medical Center Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
