Dr. Alicia Delgado, known as Dr. D, is a native of Southern California, and is extremely happy to be providing care to Houston , Texas. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors at the prestigious Universidad Tecnológica de Mexico in Mexico City. She realized very early on in her dental career that she had a passion to work with children. After graduating in 2004 she pursued advanced specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Alabama, Sparks Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders providing dental care for special needs children and the Children’s Hospital of Alabama. She is trained in all aspects of pediatric dentistry including conscious sedation, pediatric dental trauma, hospital dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and treating patients with special medical needs. She has also enjoyed her involvement with Special Olympics International and Special Smiles Program.
