Manuel A. DavilaDMD
Manuel A. Davila, DMD received his DMD with top honors from the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Davila completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
During a distinguished 20 year career in the U.S. Army, he served at several posts as Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He was honored from 1981-1982 by being appointed Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to the Surgeon General U.S. Army, Europe and the Medical Command. He also taught Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from 1982-1986 at Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
In 1986, Dr. Davila retired from the service with the rank of Colonel. Since then he has been in private practice in the Atlanta area. He is now on the medical staffs of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, Emory Adventist Hospital, Northside, Georgia Baptist, and Smyrna Hospitals.
