Introducing Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, MD, the visionary owner of Family Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre, a distinguished medical practitioner with a rich academic background and over 23 years of experience. Graduating from Punjab Medical College Faisalabad (now FMU) and Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore, Pakistan, in 1985, Dr. Ahmed embarked on a remarkable journey of medical excellence. His residency training in Medicine and Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore, further honed his skills before he pursued higher education in the United States, completing his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at East Carolina University School of Medicine in 1998.A true leader in the field, Dr. Ahmed has been the Director of the Rehabilitation Center at King David Care Centre of Atlantic City from 1991 to 1994. With a passion for pain management, he has 18 years of expertise in addressing both acute and chronic pain through his Interventional Pain and Rehab Medicine services. Dr. …Ahmed’s commitment extends beyond the clinic, as he has developed an advanced Collaborative Care Clinical Model based on evidence-based medicine and initiated the Hometown Community Project to address addiction issues in both the United States and Pakistan.Family Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre’s mission is to provide strategies to individuals and families to fight against substance abuse.
