Dr. Belcastro, board certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine, received his medical degree from Ohio University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his neonatal-perinatal fellowship at Doctor’s Hospital/Ohio State. He began at Miami Valley Hospital in 1986 and has since become the medical director of the NICU and newborn nursery, the ECMO director and clinical associate professor for pediatrics for Wright University.
Dr. Belcastro has received numerous awards in recognition of his clinical skills, including the OB-GYN Resident Role Model Award, Medical Director of the Year for 2010 for Pediatrix Central Region and was featured on the Miami Valley Wall of Excellence.
Dr. Belcastro and his wife Kim have three children. When he is not in the hospital he enjoys exercising and reading.
