Someone asked Dr. Holland if he gets tired of working all day with those who are suffering and in pain. “The thing is, I never do,” he responded. “Most of my patients are highly motivated people who have pain that keeps them from doing what they love. When we can treat the pain and restore function, our patients can return to their passions, and they are incredibly appreciative. What an honor to be a part of that process!”Dr. Holland joined National Spine & Pain Centers in early 2014 after moving from Tucson, AZ.Dr. Holland has a special interest in treating occupational injuries (workers’ compensation), but he enjoys seeing other patients as well. He also performs Independent Medical Examinations. He manages patients with multiple treatment methods including interventional techniques, injection therapies and medications. He performs interventional pain management procedures including:Platelet-Rich Plasma TherapyProlotherapyEpidural InjectionsNerve Block TechniquesRadiofrequency …Neurotomy (uses heat to deaden nerves)Kyphoplasty/Vertebroplasty (relieves spinal compression fractures)Spinal Cord Stimulation (implantable pain control device)He has lectured nationally on topics about pain medicine. Dr. Holland serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Anesthesiology.
