Dr. Boyer is a native Hoosier who completed his undergraduate and medical training at Indiana University in 1995. He served his Internship at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Clinics in Indianapolis. In 1999, he concluded his Residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Wis. Prior to joining EyeCare Consultants, Dr. Boyer was in group practice in Noblesville, Ind. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2001. He successfully recertified in 2011. Special areas of interest include ocular external disease and uveitis. He performs topical clear cornea cataract extraction and other various surgeries of the ocular adnexae and anterior segment. Comprehensive medical ophthalmic care is routinely provided as well. Professional affiliations include the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
