Specializing in complex surgery of the brain and spine Dr. Max B. Medary is a board-certified neurosurgeon with extensive experience and qualifications. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Medary has a background in the Medical College of Pennsylvania and specialized training in neurosurgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed research and fellowship training in neurotrauma and T Fukushima’s keyhole microsurgical techniques at Cornell University and Allegheny General Hospital.
Dr. Medary practices at Greater Orlando Neurosurgery and Spine with two convenient locations in Dr. Philips and Lake Nona. His areas of expertise are skull base tumor surgery, complex spine disease, and cerebrovascular disorders. He is affiliated with the AdventHealth Hospital and Orlando Health Hospital and holds leadership positions in several neurosurgical organizations.
