Megan Holland, is a board-certified CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetist) with over 10 years of experience providing anesthesia in surgical settings and a combined 16 years in healthcare. Her anesthesia practice includes thousands of hours of direct patient care and extensive use of ketamine in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Anesthesia and a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Christian University. She strongly believes in combining compassionate patient care with evidence-based practice, a belief she has built upon at Vigeo Wellness.
Megan deeply enjoys getting to know her patients and establishing a personal connection that isn’t always possible in the fast-paced world of a typical operating room. Her patients’ mental wellness has always been a priority, but it became a passion during the lockdowns of the Covid-19 pandemic. Megan founded Vigeo Wellness in 2022 to bring that passion …to life and has since found her true calling in being a ketamine provider. Her message to patients: “You are seen. You are heard. You matter.”
When she isn’t caring for patients she enjoys traveling, cooking, fitness, spending time with her husband and two young sons at her home in Aledo and watching TCU football. Go Frogs!
IMPORTANT INSURANCE NOTICE:
Because of its off-label use to treat mood disorders and chronic pain, most insurance carriers do not cover the cost of ketamine infusion therapy. For that reason we do not bill directly with any insurance carriers.
We do provide our patients with a superbill, a detailed receipt that can be submitted to your insurance carrier for any applicable out-of-network reimbursement. If you are wanting to submit your superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, we encourage speaking with your insurance carrier prior to initializing treatment at Vigeo Wellness, as some carriers require pre-authorization to reimburse for out-of-network claims.
