Dr. MERYL KAHAN, MD, FACOG, MSCP is a BOARD CERTIFIED GYNECOLOGIST specializing in WOMEN’S HEALTH & AESTHETICSBoard-certified obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Meryl E. Kahan, MD, FACOG, MSCP, launched SheMD in 2023 with the goal of providing women with compassionate and comprehensive care.Dr. Kahan brings a wealth of training and experience to her role. She began her studies at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, before earning her medical degree at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and subsequently worked for several years in both private and hospital-based practice as a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist before opening SheMD. Though Dr. Kahan enjoys working with patients of all ages, starting from adolescence, one common theme she noticed throughout her years in practice was …the unmet needs of women in perimenopause and beyond. As a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), she has a special interest in menopause care, hormone therapy and management, and sexual dysfunction. She also appreciates that for many patients, how one feels about their looks can have a significant impact on wellness. Therefore, at SheMD, patients can also conveniently address their aesthetic goals with Dr. Kahan, who is board-certified in Aesthetics and offers a wide range of aesthetic treatments.SHE MDThe mission of SheMD is to deliver outstanding gynecology and medical aesthetics services to the residents of the Little Neck and Douglaston neighborhoods of Queens, New York City, New York, in addition to the Great Neck area of Nassau County.
