I completed all my medical training at Temple University School of Medicine. I graduated from medical school in 1995. I completed my residency in radiology at Temple University Hospital from 1995-1999 where I served as chief resident. I passed my boards at the end of my residency and spent a fellowship year training in interventional radiology and have since earned a certificate of added qualification.
I joined St. Luke’s University Hospital in 2000 after working here during my fellowship. Since coming to the hospital, I have been fortunate to help many patients. I also have been able perform many “firsts” at St. Luke’s including vertebral augmentation and stroke thrombolysis. I am particularly interested in percutaneous ablation of tumors, using extreme heat or cold to kill tissue. I performed this procedure on tumors in the lung, liver, kidney, and bone. I recently used a new ablation device to treat painful metastasis in the spine.
I truly enjoy taking care of patients and …working with the wonderful physicians and staff at St. Luke’s. I am especially fortunate that St. Luke’s has a partnership with General Electric. The cutting edge technology available at St. Luke’s allows me to take better care of my patients.
