Dr. Michael Baharestani

Dr. Baharestani grew up in Roslyn and attended SUNY Stony Brook, where he majored in Biochemistry.
Dr. Baharestani received his DDS in 2005 from New york University College of Dentistry. He was one of the top students in his class and was elected into the prestigious national dental honors society- Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He then proceeded to do a 1 year general practice residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. In 2008 Dr. Baharestani received his post doctoral certificate in endodontics from New York Univerity College of Dentistry. Dr. Baharestani is a second generation endodontist. His father, Dr. Albert was an endodontist in Forest Hills for over 25 years. Dr. Baharestani developed his passion for endodontics by shadowing his father for countless hours while in high school and dental school. Dr. Baharestani’s compassion can be exemplified through his previous mission trip to Nicaragua. Dr Baharestani has coauthored articles in national and international journals on a …variety of endodontic topics. The extensive background,training, and passion for using advanced technology is what makes this Great Neck endodontist one of the forefront practitioners on the north shore. Currently, he enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending time with his wife and son.
