Dr. Michael Craig Mallea, MD

Michael C. Mallea, MD is an Idaho native from Caldwell Idaho and has been practicing in Boise since 1996. Dr. Mallea was educated at Idaho State University, University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his nephrology fellowship training at the University of Washington.
Dr. Mallea’s main goal is to deliver compassionate and clinically superior care based on evidence-based medicine to achieve optimal outcomes.
Dr. Mallea has a special interest in vascular access and peritoneal dialysis but enjoys all aspects of consultative nephrology.
Dr. Mallea is currently medical director of the following dialysis units: Home Program at DaVita Tablerock Dialysis and Nampa DaVita Dialysis Center. He is also the Medical Director at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Acute Dialysis.
Dr. Mallea enjoys his family, gardening and bird watching in his spare time.
