Since 2005, Dr. Michael Bryan, MD, has been serving dermatology patients like you at the Seven Hills location of Las Vegas Skin & Cancer Clinics. From the first moment you meet him – and thanks to his 16 years in the Air Force, don’t be surprised if he greets you with a “ma’am” or “sir” – you’ll know he’s passionate about the health of your skin and will treat you with the utmost respect and courtesy.
Dr. Bryan’s interest in medicine started when he was a young boy, as his father was a pharmacist, and it blossomed while in college, where he was fascinated by anatomy, zoology, and microbiology. Medical school was inevitable, as it allowed him to pursue a career where he could help people while doing something that he loved. He went straight into dermatology because of the broad spectrum of issues and its focus on visualization when making a difference in patient lives.
Dr. Bryan performed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University before completing medical school at the …Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. After that, he did his dermatology residency while in the Air Force and was Chief of Dermatology for three years in Germany during his time serving abroad.
Dr. Bryan’s time in the military opened his love other countries and other lands. He’s travelled extensively in Central and South American and lived in Mexico and Guatemala where learned to speak Spanish fluently. He has many loyal and relieved Spanish speakers who feel more comfortable communicating in their native languages in order to understand and be understood.
From inflammatory skin issues to skin cancer to infectious diseases, Dr. Bryan relishes the challenges of dermatology. He’ll eliminate any apprehension you have and won’t let you leave without all your questions being answered. It’s critical to him that you leave happy and confident. Your skin is his life and specialty and he won’t stop your treatment until he finds a solution.
