Dr. Bigg has been a diagnostic radiologist for over 30 years, with experience in almost all radiological fields. He has had a special interest in Mammography and breast health for many years. He studied radiology at Liverpool University in England.
His mother was diagnosed with her first breast cancer whilst he was still a medical student, so he has a first-hand knowledge of how breast cancer can affect the family. She survived two separate breast cancers, each with the removal of a breast. She survived due to early detection, and lived to be 75 without recurrence.
Dr. Bigg knows that early detection is the most important tool a woman can have to fight breast cancer.
He is married with three beautiful daughters, so it is no surprise that women’s health is very important to him.
