Michael Douso, MD, Practicing in the area since 1986. He is a Board Certified in Urogynecology since 2014, and the only board-certified urogynecologist, specializing in minimally invasive procedures in the Florida Panhandle and South Georgia region. Dr. Douso earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and completed his residency at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. For 24 years, Dr. Douso practiced obstetrics with the United States Public Health Service before starting his private practice devoted to gynecology in 1989. He currently teaches minimally invasive surgical techniques and new procedures in Urogynecology to physicians from all over the United States. With the Capital Regional Medical Center, where he formerly served as Chairman of the Medical Staff and current Chairman of the Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery, he is bringing cutting edge technology to the women of our community.
