Dr. Michael Chilungu is an assistant professor of neurology at the University of Rochester. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Buffalo, and went on to pursue his medical degree at the University of Buffalo. During his medical training he obtained an M.B.A. at the University of Buffalo. After medical school he pursued training in neurology at Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated in 2008. He subsequently pursued fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Rochester, at Strong Memorial Hospital. Currently, Dr. Chilungu is positioned at the Rochester General Hospital division of the University Neurology Department, where he maintains an epilepsy clinic, a general neurology clinic. He divides up his time between clinical teaching activities between residents and medical students, seeing patients, and providing electromyography (EMG), and electroencephalography (EEG) services at Rochester General Hospital.
