She continued her medical training at LSU Health Sciences …Center-Shreveport with an internal medicine internship and residency, during which she was chief resident. Dr. Chico completed a fellowship in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism also at LSUHSC-S in 2007.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Chico enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing piano, listening to music, and cooking.
