Molly Harrigan, RD, PA-C, of First Medical Associates is a physician assistant serving patients in Germantown, MD. Molly completed a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at The George Washington University in 2019 and has been practicing in primary care since then.
Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Molly began her career in health care as a registered dietitian. She completed her dietetic internship and master’s degree in clinical nutrition at Tufts University in Boston, MA in 2012. As a dietitian, she served inpatient surgical and intensive care patients. She then moved to Malawi to work for Tufts on a USAID-funded project, partnering with local universities and hospitals to develop and implement Malawi’s first accredited dietetics program. These experiences inspired her to learn to practice medicine by becoming a physician assistant.
Molly’s special interests include preventive medicine, education, and community health. She enjoys building relationships with her …patients and partnering with them to achieve their individual goals for health and wellness.
