Dr. Monica Garin-Laflam recently joined Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital in Roanoke, VA. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree with Honors Distinction from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). She is currently an Associate Professor at Virginia Tech-Carilion School of Medicine and serves as the Director of Pediatric IBD program. Dr. Garin-Laflam is the principal investigator for the Improve Care Now study, focusing on enhancing care for pediatric patients with IBD.
