When I was a child, I read a book about Elizabeth Blackwell, the first female physician in the U.S. and her extraordinary achievements. On that day, I decided to pursue a career in medicine, not just to be a doctor, but to do everything possible to relieve suffering. I continue to be inspired by Dr. Blackwell, doing my best to bring relief to my patients by incorporating a multidisciplinary approach.
