Dr. Nakul Mahajan, MD

Nakul Mahajan, M.D. is a board certified pain management physician, fellowship-trained to create personalized treatment plans to restore quality of life for his patients; using a range of therapies such as minimally invasive procedures, regenerative therapy, and medications. He joined Healthcare Associates in Medicine, a division of the Orlin & Cohen Medical Specialists Group, following the completion of his fellowship studies. Dr. Mahajan is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
Dr. Mahajan attended the Steven Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ to complete his undergraduate studies. He traveled to Dominica to attain his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Mahajan completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. At Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Mahajan obtain sub-specialty training in Pain Medicine.
Dr. Mahajan is a board certified, fellowship-trained …pain management physician who has published and presented on the diagnosis and management of keratoconus, opioid-induced hyperalgesia, and carcinoid tumors. In conjunction with his tenure at HCA, Dr. Mahajan maintains active fellowship with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Spine Society, North American Neuromodulation Society, Medical Society of State of New York, and Richmond County Medical Society.
