Dr. Nathaniel D. Tricker, MD

Meet Dr. Tricker
Dr. Tricker grew up in Northern Indiana. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1999, he proudly began his military service in the United States Army. He obtained additional training in a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program and completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. His first assignment as an oral surgeon placed him in Wuerzburg, Germany where he served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery providing surgical services in Wuerzburg, Heidelberg, and at Landstuhl Army Medical Center. Dr. Tricker completed his Army career at Madigan Army Medical Center, Washington where he was honored to serve as an instructor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Training Program and Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.
Dr. Tricker is a Diplomate of the American Board of …Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the Charlottesville Albemarle Dental Society. He holds hospital privileges at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Tricker enjoys all aspects of meeting his patients’ oral and facial needs. His areas of special interests include dental implant, tooth extraction, orthognathic, and craniofacial surgeries. Dr. Tricker and his family are excited about living in Charlottesville. His wife and two young children look forward to enjoying the beautiful outdoor opportunities in central Virginia.
