Dr. Gomez was born in Denton, Texas and was named by his father, who is a
U.S. Army veteran, after WWII General Omar Nelson Bradley, the United States’ last five star general. Dr. Gomez was raised in Fort Worth, where he attended school through graduation from Nolan Catholic High School. Dr. Gomez completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Arlington, and he received his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Gomez completed pediatric residency training at Texas A&M University Health Science Center – Scott & White Hospital (Temple, Texas) in 1997, where he served as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor.
After one year in private practice in Kerrville, Texas, he returned to Fort Worth in 1998 to join the Cook Children’s Physician Network to start up its Fossil Creek office. He built a successful practice over the next three years and left the network at the end of September 2001 to start his own private pediatric practice, …under the name of Kid Care Pediatrics, which opened October 1, 2001.
Dr. Gomez is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He enjoys an excellent reputation within the medical community and the public at large. His practice philosophy is to provide professional, competent, and thorough care for infants, children, and adolescents in a warm and friendly manner.
In his free time, Dr. Gomez enjoys spending time with his family, reading, arts & culture, sporting events, and family cook-outs. He is married and has four young children. His parents and extended family live in the Fort Worth area, where he also happily resides. As such, Dr. Gomez is committed to staying in the local area on a long-term basis.
