Oral Surgeon, Otto W. Slater, DDS Hello, my name is Dr. Otto W. Slater, I am a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. My wife, Kimberly and I have two beautiful daughters and feel fortunate to reside in the Maryville Area. My medical background and training started with my graduation from Purdue University in 1984, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I later attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry , graduating cum laude with a Doctorate of Dental Science in 1996. I completed my Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC and graduated in 2000. I currently serve an an assistant professor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. In July of 2000 I went into private practice with Dr. Timothy P. McConnell. Dr. McConnell, Dr. Napier, Dr. Kennedy and myself have a state of the art surgical …facility in Maryville where we provide full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery services.
