Dr. Pablo Marcelo Laufer, MD

Dr. Laufer is an associate in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Department at Miami Children’s Hospital. He is a graduate from the National University of Asuncion, Paraguay. After 2 years of residency in the Hospital de Clinicas in Asuncion. Dr. Laufer continued his training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami where he did his training in Pediatrics as well as in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
After working for 3 years as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Miami, Dr. Laufer joined Miami Children’s Hospital in October of 2002. Dr Laufer is Board Certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
His main interests are management of bacterial infections with multidrug-resistant bacteria, Mycobacterium infections, immunization practices, and treatment of infections in immunocompromised patients.
