Dr. Paolo Poidmore

Dr. Poidmore is a Sacramento-area native and graduate of Jesuit High School. After completing four years of undergraduate studies, four years of dental training, and 3 years of orthodontic training, Dr. Poidmore returned to his home town to start his career. He received his bachelor of science degree from the University of San Diego in 2002. Dr. Poidmore then attended the University of Southern California where he received his dental degree in 2006, and finally he received his orthodontic specialty training under world-renowned orthodontist Dr. Anthony Gianelly at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Poidmore enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, snowboarding, working out, studying theology, cooking, attending sporting events, and eating homemade Italian food!
Dr. Poidmore is up to date on the latest techniques and technologies and is incorporating them with Dr. Gere’s practice experience in order to provide the most …efficient, highest quality treatment possible. Dr. Poidmore’s favorite aspect of orthodontics is the great variety of challenges presented by each individual patient and the detail and thought processes involved in determining the highest quality and most predictable outcome in each situation.
“It keeps me thinking,” he says. “No two cases are the same. Each patient presents with a new puzzle to solve, but we do everything within our ability to make sure they all leave with a beautiful smile and new self-confidence no matter what road we took to get them there. I love sharing in the excitement of others as their smile is transformed. I have been so blessed to be able to do something that I love.”
