Dr. Paul Anthony Tucker II, MD

Dr. Tucker received his bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Texas at Austin, with induction into Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Tucker completed his residency program in Internal Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Medical Resident. He received his fellowship training in Adult Cardiology at St. Luke’s Hospital, the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, where he served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. He is a past Outstanding Cardiology Fellow of the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Tucker has served two terms as the Chief of Cardiology at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, and has served as a Peer Reviewer for the Texas Medical Foundation. He also is a physician panelist for the Texas Medical Board.
Dr. Tucker has been elected as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor for the years 2003, 2004, 2005, …2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Dr. Tucker is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and is a member of the American Heart Association, the Texas Heart Institute Cardiac Society, the Travis County Medical Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
