Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I come from a big family from the Pittsburgh area. My father was a blue collar worker, and my mother was a teacher in a parochial school. These two influenced me to pursue medicine as it requires commitment, hard work, compassion and dedication. It was a life choice, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve others, as well as provide for my family. What I want my patients to know about me:I have a friendly and outgoing personality. I try to connect to people and provide the best care possible in trying situations. What I do when I’m not seeing patients:When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether it’s going to professional sporting events, concerts, or going on family vacations.
