Dr. Paul Stanley Goldstein

Dr. Paul Goldstein has been in periodontal practice since 1978. His career in private practice has been enhanced by involvement in national and local professional organizations, his commitment to continuing education, as well as his dedication to the community. Dr. Goldstein earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. He then went on to earn his post-doctoral degree in Periodontics at the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. He entered private practice in 1978 and subsequently established his practice in New York. Dr. Goldstein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Being a Diplomate signifies significant achievement beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. This is one of the highest recognitions of achievement afforded by the specialty. Dr. Goldstein’s leadership and commitment to dentistry is evident through his memberships with the American …Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Queens County Dental Society the Long Island Periodontal Academy, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He has lectured to his colleagues on numerous topics, including periodontics and implants and trains dental residents at the New York Hospital Queens Center where he holds a staff appointment. In addition to Periodontics, Dr. Goldstein has extensive training and experience in Dental Implant Surgery and Intravenous Sedation, highly technical phases of dentistry. Ongoing Dental Education Staying at the forefront of his field has always been a high priority to Dr. Goldstein. He frequently attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest advancements in his field. Recent courses attended have addressed IV sedation, periodontal prosthesis, implants, endodontics, soft tissue management, oral pathology, infection control, diagnostic determinants, surgical innovations, practice management and human relations, as well as self-improvement.
