Dr. Prema Kothandaraman, MD

Dr. Prema is quite passionate about her profession. She loves to work with woman’s health and wellness in all aspects.  Since she believes in caring for the person as a whole, she leverages the interactions between mind, body, and consciousness towards maximizing patients’ health, and the quality of life and go beyond health as WOMAN’S HEALTH EXCELLENCE.
Dr. Prema loves to expand her medical knowledge, by learning new technologies and their applications for Woman’s health in a most scientific way. She explores and learns more Holistic approaches to maintain and help Woman’s health through natural/noninvasive methods. She believes that health is not just the absence of diseases, but living with powerfulness, positive emotions, high creativity, and bliss.
Dr. Prema did her Medical Education in India where she also treated thousands of women. After coming to the US, she completed an internship at Yale University, followed by a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at …Mount Sinai Medical Center, NYC. She went on to attain a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, FL.
Dr. Prema performs minimally invasive pelvic surgeries for most bladder and pelvic organ problems and reconstruction of pelvic floor. Given the sensitive nature of incontinence and prolapse, she offers compassion and discretion. She loves the patients’ partnership in care.
