Rand J. Stack, MD is section chief for breast imaging at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital, Central Park WomenÂ’s Imaging, West Side Radiology Associates/Midtown Medical Pavilion and Morningside Radiology Associates. Dr. Stack is a board-certified radiologist currently serving as an Assistant Attending and an Assistant Professor of Radiology. Dr. Stack received his bachelor of science degree from Yale University and his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Stack also holds an MBA degree from the Columbia University Business School. He completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at New York Medical College where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Stack has subspecialized in breast imaging since 1995, and is past president of the New York Breast Imaging Society. Dr. StackÂ’s clinical interests include mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast needle localization, and ultrasound guided breast biopsy. Dr. Stack speaks at national …radiology meetings on breast imaging, and is author of the chapter “Stereotactic Breast Biopsy: How We Do It” in the textbook KuererÂ’s Surgical Oncology of the Breast. Dr. Stack has previously served as Director of the Department of Radiology at St. Agnes Hospital in White Plains, New York.
