Dr. Ravi Kaur
Dr. Kaur was born in India and immigrated to the United States in 1985. She graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She pursued her dental education and her speciality training at Howard University from 1993-1999. Dr. Kaur began practicing orthodontics in 1999. In July 2002, Dr. Kaur opened her own modern, state of the art practice in Silver Spring along with her husband Dr. Maurice Gunraj. She is highly trained to work with special orthodontic needs of children, adolescents and adults. At present, Dr. Kaur’s practice comprises of 35% adults and 65% children.
Dr. Kaur is active in many professional organizations including American Association of Orthodontists and Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Kaur is actively involved in the community. She has lectured at health fairs and career days in various middle and high schools.
