Dr. René Horvilleur, DDS is a specialist in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, graduating cum laude from the National University of Nicaragua, obtaining a DDS degree in 1978. Dr. Horvilleur completed a two-year postgraduate program in prosthodontics at the College of Dentistry, New York University in 1981. From 1981-1986, Dr. Horvilleur participated in a five-year fellowship at the Dental Center of Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York, teaching prosthodontics, becoming the chief attending clinical Prosthodontist at the Dental Center. During this period, Dr. Horvilleur also worked in a multidiscipline, hospital-based private practice. In 1987, Dr. Horvilleur earned his second DDS degree from the
College of Dentistry at New York University.
Due to his strong interest in implant dentistry and desire to advance its application in his own practice, after completing all of the requirements for the implant educational program, Dr. Horvilleur received a Diplomate …title from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in December 1992. Dr. Horvilleur is an active instructor and teaches Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry to his colleagues, both nationally and internationally, presenting his courses in numerous cities both in the US and all over the world.

In addition to maintaining his practice and engaging in related professional activities, Dr. Horvilleur serves as a consultant for several implant companies and is a member of the Board of Editors for peer review for the Journal of Implant Dentistry, an editor for the International Editor, Sociedad Espanola de Implantes dentales and international editor of the Revista Association de Implantologia Argentina.
Dedicating his career to the practice of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, Dr. Horvilleur carefully evaluates the dental and aesthetic needs of his patients, providing the highest standards for each phase of their dental care in order to always achieve optimum results.
