Dr. Renwick Neal Goldberg, MD

Dr. Goldberg joined the practice in 1984 and is Coastal Cancer Center’s Secretary. He has been on the active staff at both Grand Strand Regional Medical Center and Conway Medical Center since 1984. Dr. Goldberg received active privileges at Waccamaw Community Hospital in 2002. He also has consulting privileges at Loris Community Hospital. Dr. Goldberg is state licensed in South Carolina and North Carolina and has Board Certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine for both Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.Dr. Goldberg is from Youngstown, Ohio. He has served as Program Director for the Department of Hematology/Oncology of the Youngstown Hospital Association and as Director of the Department of Oncology at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Northwestern Ohio College of Medicine and as a Clinical Instructor at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree with high honors from …the University Liege in Belgium, a program affiliated with the Queens Hospital Center of Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York where he performed his internship and residency. He later received a Medical Oncology Fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the South Carolina Oncology Society (SCOS.)
