Dr. Jacob has been designing and creating healthy and attractive smiles in San Diego, California since 1976. His dental and post-graduate training was in Chicago at Northwestern University.
With a special interest in children with facial birth defects and special needs, Dr. Jacob is the primary orthodontist at Children’s Hospital, San Diego, California. The multi-specialty teams plan treatment for children with cleft palate and facial birth defects. Dr. Jacob has been a Senior Staff member of the Hospital since 1983 and has served as Chairman of the Dental Department.In addition to a private orthodontic practice in San Diego for children and adults, Dr. Jacob serves as the orthodontic consultant to the State of California, for the California Children’s Services program. He reviews treatment from orthodontists all over the State and helps formulate program policy.
