Dr. Robert Eugene Smith, MD

Dr Robert Smith is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in LASIK…he has performed over 40,000 procedures. Dr Smith is a retired USAF Colonel with over 20 years of active duty service. He was selected and served as the USAF Surgeon General Refractive Surgery Consultant and the Medical Director of the USAF Warfighter Refractive Surgery Program. He performed the first PRK and LASIK procedures on USAF pilots. He is also a VISX CustomVue Laser Trainer and in this role trained hundreds of other ophthalomogists in the fine art of refractive surgery.
