Dr. Robert Krasnick, MD

Dr. Robert Krasnick is a board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnistic Medicine Physician with extensive experience and training in musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Michigan, Dr. Krasnick completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan Hospital Center. He completed his internship at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Dr Krasnick pursued his residency training at Rush Presbyterian / St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago Illinois, and then began private practice in the Chicago area. Dr. Krasnick returned to his hometown and is a founding member of Center of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation P.C.
Dr Krasnick has a special interest musculoskeletal medicine and is a leading expert in the field of regenerative medicine, having performed prolotherapy for over 18 years, and platelet rich plasma injections for over 8 years. He has been involved with the premier prolotherapy …organization, Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation (HHPF) since 2003. Through this foundation, he has participated in multiple medical missions to Honduras and Mexico. He has been an instructor and faculty member for the HHPF missions and numerous conferences. Dr. Krasnick has learned, trained, and taught with world renowned physicians and is considered the local authority of regenerative medicine.
Additionally, he has had a special interest in ultrasound for diagnostic and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions for which he has been performing for the past 10 years. This office-based ultrasound allows immediate diagnosis and intervention without exposure to radiation for a variety of common conditions which leads faster diagnosis and treatment for his patients. Dr. Krasnick married to Jane Krasnick M.D. and has 3 wonderful girls.
His interests outside of medicine include cycling, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
