Dr. Samuelson is the Vice Chairman, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Danbury Hospital. He is also the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Residency Program Director. Treating the full range of gynecologic concerns, Dr. Samuelson specializes in complex laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures including:
* Management of endometrial early-stage cervical and ovarian cancers
* Hysterectomy (radical, laparoscopic/robotic)
* Ovarian cystectomy and oophorectomy
* Pelvic and ovarian masses, retroperitoneal masses and advanced endometriosis; myomectomies (open and robotic)
* Omentectomy; pelvic node sampling and dissection; para-aortic node sampling and dissection
