Dr. Ronnier Jose Aviles, MD

Dr. Aviles completed his training in interventional cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts. He is excited about practicing in our beautiful and vibrant community. Dr. Aviles is married, and his wife, Jennifer, is an emergency medicine physician at Highline Medical Center in Burien.
Dr. Aviles is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. He received his training in general cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH and in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MI. He spent two years at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute studying cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging techniques.
Dr. Aviles is the lead editor of a book titled “Introductory Guide to Cardiac Catheterization”, and author of many original contributions published in prestigious journals including The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and Circulation.
Dr. Aviles’ clinical interests include …general cardiovascular care and non-invasive and invasive techniques to diagnose and treat patients with coronary and peripheral artery disease.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Aviles and his wife enjoy hiking, biking, and traveling.
