Dr. Russell B. Brokstein, DC

Dr. Brokstein grew up in Freehold, New Jersey and after going out of state for his education he came back to the community he grew up in to give back. Dr. Brokstein played competitive soccer for 28 years. He suffered with bronchial conditions through high school and college. Upon getting adjusted for the first time when first entering the chiropractic college, his problem resolved which was never helped by the medications and inhalers. Also, while working out, Dr. Brokstein injured his lower back and can sympathize with patients that come in with similar problems. Chiropractic care helped him and he got into doing flex/distraction technique as it’s what helped him recovery so quickly. Initially he was a Pre-medical student and an undergrad and with thinking there had to be another way to help patients without drugs or surgery. The dean of Pre-medical suggested Chiropractic. Keeping an open mind he researched it on his own, never knowing what chiropractic was really about, he liked …the idea of getting to the source of the problem and help the body self-correct, to get patients well and healthy through wellness. That is the healthcare without drugs which not only eliminates health problems but prevents them.
